She said she had been homeless for four months 2 years ago and knows what it means to be cold and alone. She said she held up the sign high to honor the person who died. (Greg Sorber/Albuquerque Journal)[/caption] This year the Memorial Vigil took place on Wednesday, December 21st. Participants gathered at Albuquerque Health Care For The Homeless' Memorial wall and participated in a silent march from the memorial wall to The Rock at NoonDay for a Memorial Vigil to honor those who are no longer with us.
