Responsible for monitoring the day-to-day financial operations of a Federally Qualified Health Center with approximately 40 funding sources including federal, state, local grants and third party billing. Position includes preparing, managing, supervising, and coordinating accounting functions of the organization including AR, AP, payroll, general ledger and balance sheet accounts. Preparation of monthly financial reports. Experience with public grants and contracts reporting, as well as, compliance with financial provisions, regulations and legislative requirements. This position must possess strong written/verbal communication skills, exemplary analytical skills, knowledge of fund accounting, as well as an in-depth knowledge of GAAP. Position supervises finance team and reports directly to the Chief Finance and Administration Officer. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 5 years accounting experience preferably in a non-profit environment with multiple funding sources. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
