This year marks 33 years of continued commitment to serving the health care needs of people experiencing homelessness.
As a result of your generosity, AHCH staff will be able to provide comprehensive primary care (medical, dental and behavioral health) and wrap-around social support services that work to address the whole person and their individual and complex needs.
In fact, thanks to your generosity and your belief that homelessness is unacceptable, thousands of individuals, families and youth across Albuquerque received the help needed to begin to address their homelessness.
Like you, AHCH believes people who are homeless deserve the same respect, dignity, empathy, and quality care as someone who is housed.
Your support makes that, and so much more possible. Such as…
• Access to the care needed to begin to address the homelessness causes and consequences of homelessness, both on-site and in the field
• Providing the housing linkages and supports needed to end an individual or family’s homelessness
• An exceptional, concerted, and organization-wide effort to continuously act on improving the quality of care available to people living without homes and seeking help at Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless
• Intentional efforts to mobilize all staff through unified qualities that create an exceptional welcoming, excellent customer service, and the ability to listen and understand while acting with integrity for all people on campus
But even as we celebrate our shared successes, we must keep fighting so that others won’t experience the devastating effects of homelessness.
