AHCH First Day of Winter Year-end Campaign Celebration

At AHCH's annual First Day of Winter Campaign celebration on March 12th, Board of Directors, Fund Development Committee Members, sponsors, and AHCH Staff gathered to toast, sparkling apple cider, to the completion of another successful fundraising campaign.

You raised $223,578! Your belief inspires amazingness. AHCH developed a dynamic campaign which supports the 2018 campaign goal of $210,000 from October 2018 to the end of February 2019. Thank you to each and every one of you for giving and for who you are. The funds raised through this campaign displays an extraordinary effort to be the change you want to see in the world. Funds will provide life changing experiences to people without homes. During the year-end celebration, AHCH Board President-Elect Ron Moya said, “If you take a look around this table, you see people here not for their own glory, but are here for the public good.” That’s probably what has made this celebration so impactful, and so inspiring over the years. "It’s a single room filled with donors who all give to Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless and who all have a vision to end homelessness," said AHCH Advancement Officer Anita Cordova. She also emphasized philanthropy is a love of humankind and a voluntary joining of resources and actions for the public good.

A local caterer prepared Shepherd's pie, cabbage rolls, a garden salad with generous servings of Irish Dip for the celebration.

Pastian's Bakery served up chocolate-cherry cake with a special message.
