AHCH Annual Executive Committee Updates – 2022

Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless (AHCH) announces the annual election of new officers for the AHCH Executive Committee: John D. Johnson, Teague Gonzalez, Vanessa Mackey-Williams, Chelsea Ritchie, and Walt Bolic. Get to know our outstanding Executive Committee here.

John D. Johnson, President
John brings with him an extensive background in education, social work and health care administration. John has served in a variety of leadership roles across Presbyterian Healthcare Services -- helping more New Mexicans access care. He currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Service Officer of Presbyterian Health Plan. His commitment to non-profit organizational support and development in the community started in 2010 with United Way.
Teague González, President-Elect
Teague González has extensive experience working in legal services and other nonprofit settings. She has legislative and campaign advocacy experience in defending public benefits. She has worked in a variety of settings including in jails and at homeless shelters. Currently, Teague is an attorney at the New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty where she directs the Center’s public benefits work (Photo coming at a later date).
Vanessa Mackey-Williams, Secretary
Following retirement from a major network's news division, Vanessa produced and hosted a radio show, became a Chaplain at Overlook Medical Center in New Jersey, and graduated from the New York Theological Seminary. She holds a Level 1 ACPE certification and has a Master of Arts in Pastoral Care and Counseling and twenty-seven years of experience in prison ministry.
Chelsea Ritchie, Treasurer
Chelsea has ten years of experience leading numerous internal audit, policy development, and other consulting projects, as well as leading small and large external financial statement and compliance audits for higher education, government, not-for-profit, financial institution, and health care organizations. She has performed and supervised numerous audits in accordance with IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, GAS, and GAGAS. Chelsea is experienced in evaluating internal controls and risks related to accounting and finance functions, including those surrounding treasury and banking processes, from both an internal audit and external audit perspective.
Walt Bolic, Immediate Past President
Walt was President and Chief Executive Officer of Delta Dental of New Mexico for sixteen years before retiring in 2016. In addition, he has significant experience in the health industry working for two hospital systems and a health plan.
