Chelsea has ten years of experience leading internal audit, policy development, and other consulting projects, as well as leading external financial statement and compliance audits for higher education, government, not-for-profit, financial institution, and health care organizations. She has performed and supervised numerous audits in accordance with IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, GAS, and GAGAS. She is experienced in evaluating internal controls and risks related to accounting and finance functions, including those surrounding treasury and banking processes.

Fabián was born in Albuquerque and grew up in Valencia County. He has studied in Argentina, Brazil, and Spain and returned to New Mexico in 2012. He has a background in education, medical interpreting, and health care leadership. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the University of New Mexico Hospital. Fabián is deeply committed to serving the underserved and their health and wellness.

David “Ikela” Moniz-Lewis is a clinical psychology doctoral student at the University of New Mexico and National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) predoctoral fellow at the Center for Alcohol Substance Use and Addiction (CASAA). He has a variety of clinical experience in the addiction field, including working primarily with individuals receiving medication for opioid use disorder from a harm reduction framework. His clinical and research interests center on mindfulness and acceptance-based treatments for substance use disorders among marginalized groups.

Graduated from nursing school in 2000 and worked briefly in NYC before moving to Albuquerque in 2002. I have spent the last 17 years at UNMH in the Pediatric ICU. After completing my MPH I trained as a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) and have been working for Albuquerque SANE Collaborative since 2019.

Mike is the Vice President of Growth and Strategy for Optum New Mexico. He has a background in contracting, negotiation, public affairs, communications, compliance, strategy, growth and business development. Michael received his Bachelor’s degree from the Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism at the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication. He received his Master of Health Administration at the University of New Mexico. He is a Leadership New Mexico graduate.

A leader in the UMC serving as a pastor in rural, urban, university, and suburban appointments and as a District Superintendent. Selected by peers to five General Conferences and six Jurisdictional Conferences. Chaired Missouri East Conference Council and led in the negotiations, creative problem solving, and educational communication to create one Missouri Annual Conference from two. Developed local church staffs, led major capital funds campaigns raising over $12,000,000, participated on creative teams, sat on governing boards, overseen a $2,500,000 annual budget, and mentored young professionals. In the community, served on mental health, college, seminary, and medical ethics boards.

Daniel Rowan, co-founder of Best Chance, serves the needs of recently released inmates. As a Sr. Program Manager at New Mexico Peer Education Project, he trains formerly and currently incarcerated individuals as peer educators. Daniel's personal journey, including incarcerations and a struggle with substance use, gives him a special understanding and compassion for these communities, shaping his personalized approach to his work.

Emmylou has worked in the behavioral healthcare field for over 20 years in both executive management and direct care capacities. She is Certified Grief Counselor, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner, and Licensed Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counselor. Currently she is serving as Director of Operations at New Mexico Solutions.

Raneem Ramadan is an MBA candidate at New Mexico State University (NMSU). Raneem has a Bachelors in Business Administration BBA in Management Information Systems with a Computer Science minor from the University of New Mexico (UNM). She has previous experience working in the New Mexico Project ECHO Programs at The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. She is passionate about data, systems, and business analysis. She completed her undergraduate degree with high honors. She is expanding her skill sets at NMSU Business School with advanced coursework in finance, economics, information systems, and business analysis.
